All crystals have been charged in the moonlight and sunlight.  Do not put selenite in Water...she will dissolve.  You can cleanse her by intention and sage clearing.  I suggest meditating with your crystal to better understand her, I personally like to do that before bed, moving the crystal up and down the chakra by following intuition.
